How I made $157,858 in 2019 (Freelance Accountant Income Report)

How I made $157,858 in 2019 (Freelance Accountant Income Report)

Hi there! My name is Marina and I am a CPA located in California working virtually providing accounting services to start ups and non-profits. I am excited recap my 2019 business results and share it with my audience.

Why Publish This Income Report?

It’s a little weird publishing my income report for all of my friends, family, and loved ones to see, but that’s the trade off that I accept for the transparency that it provides to my audience.

I am not publishing to brag – only to show my followers and readers just what is possible with a small business, some hard work, and a lot of determination!

I own a successful accounting company at MarinaKovalev.com.  It is from the successes and failures of that company that I teach accountants here at Inclusivefirm.com.

There are a lot of ‘experts’ out there that are making money by teaching accountants how to market their accounting firms without actually having ran an accounting firm. This is not one of those places. I have operated my own accounting firm since 2014.

Inclusive Firm Course (where I teach accountants how to start firms of their own): $4,798

Accounting Coaching: $4,660

The number above does not include expenses. The expenses that I incur on a monthly basis include the following:

Also note, this income was earned working 25 hours a week virtually, which has allowed me to actually LIVE my best life. Opening my own accounting business has literally altered the course of my life, and now it’s your turn! 🙂
